Sterling Capital Limited (SCL) was incorporated as a limited
liability company in 1981 to provide investment and financial advisory
services. In July 1994, Sterling was licensed by the Capital Markets Authority
(K) as a stockbroker and became a member of the Nairobi Securities Exchange
then known as the Nairobi Stock Exchange. Through time, Sterling has
established itself as the go-to brokerage company both in Kenya and within the
larger African region. In October 2017, Sterling was licensed to carry out the
business of an Investment Bank.
