Michael Lieder

Michael Lieder, executive director, joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management in 2013 to lead Capital Markets for the firms Exchange Traded Funds business. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, for 6 years Mike worked at BlackRock (and Barclays Global Investors prior to its acquisition) within their iShares ETF business. At iShares, as part of the Capital Markets and Institutional Sales teams, he helped drive liquidity, utilization and distribution of ETF’s to the broker dealers and institutional clients. Before joining BlackRock, Mike worked at Credit Suisse from 1996 to 2006 as a director on their Convertible Bond and Equity Derivative Sales team. He began his career trading commodity and financial futures for Oppenheimer Futures Trading Advisory Services, a wholly owned Commodity Trading Advisor of Oppenheimer & Co. Mike earned his BA degree in Economics from Boston College in 1986.
