Jared Lou (Past Speaker)

Jared is a portfolio manager for Emerging Market Debt Hard Currency strategies. Based in New York, he is responsible for Latin American hard currency sovereign and quasi-sovereign debt for NN IP’s  global portfolios. Jared joined NN IP in 2016. Prior to that, he was a sovereign analyst in the Emerging Market Debt team of Grantham, Mayo, van Otterloo (GMO), based in Boston. Jared joined GMO after his MBA. His pre-MBA experience includes a stint in risk management at State Street Global Markets and one in quantitative research at Property and Portfolio Research (both in Boston).

Jared holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT Sloan). He has bachelor (cum laude) and master degrees in Economics from Tulane University. Jared is also a CFA charter holder.
